Big machines, trucks, bulldozers, tractors viewed from Robinson Forest’s fire tower. Strip mine operations are taking place just outside of the Robinson Forest. Natural Resource Conservation & Management undergraduates see it first hand in this strip mine field study class.

Camp Robinson

Robinson Forest is the University of Kentucky’s experimental forestry “laboratory”. It’s a few minutes until dinner time and students from the sometimes conflicting “Forestry” and “Natural Resource” programs relax and wait for the dinner bell.
